We currently run two Bible School programs:
1) Weekend Classes
These run about once every three weekends, on a friday night and all day saturday
The next intake of students for the weekend classes is September 2010
2) Evening Classes
These are run on monday & tuesday nights; and follow a term structure of 5 teaching weeks, followed by a 3 week break. The term breaks are designed to line up closely with school term breaks
The next student intake for night classes is Septebmer 2010
Is it possible to do both weekend and evening classes at the same time?
Anyone interested in enrolling for both the weekend and evening classes at the same time may do so in this February intake. This is a more intensive program, and allows the student to complete Level 1 in a single year, rather than the normal 2 years it would take to complete it.
Please contact the office to discuss the details of how you may be able to do this. It will mean attending the monthly weekend school as well as the evening school. Certainly doable for those of you who want to grow even faster!
Who can attend your Bible School?
The simple answer is: anyone who wants to grow in God and in the understanding of the Bible. The program is however primarily focused toward those who are called to the fivefold preaching/teaching ministries found in Ephesians 4:11 (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor & Teacher), or those who feel called to supportive ministries such as: administrators, worship leaders, youth and children’s workers; those who want to be better equipped to support others.
Practical, not Intellectual
One of our objectives is to ensure that each student leaves WHBTC having hands-on experience in as many areas of ministry as possible. In addition to weekly Practical Ministry Requirements (PMR), each student must serve one church based, and one mission based placement during their two years of study. Furthermore, in their second year every student will travel to the USA to experience some of the best churches and ministries in the world. They will then attend a seminar at Rhema Bible Training Centre ( http://www.Rhema.org) - the ministry that our founding pastors and many of our staff and instructors are accountable to.
